It has become tradition for us to go visit this sweet couple in Canton that decorate their house and dress like Santa and Mrs. Claus every christmas.  The boys LOVE it as I am sure Reagan will too.  They have trains, the biggest blow up snowman ever, amazing lights and decorations, a warm out door fire, Hershey kisses, and of course Santa Claus!

They are such a sweet couple that do this every year!  First time we went J was like one week old and now he’s three!  So crazy!

If you have never gone-you should go!  They start at 6:00pm and do it (I think) every night till Christmas!

Our little J man turns three on thanksgiving day (November 24) this year.  We wanted to celebrate him and give him his special day, so this weekend was all about him.  On Saturday we had a small party for him and Sunday we celebrated as a family.  One of the sweetest/cutest things I am taking away from this weekend was when we sang happy birthday, he sang right along with us!  Such a cute boy!!  Love him so much!!

You would never be able to tell this boy didn’t start crawling till 16 months and walking months later.  He has gone through so many therapies and tests!  We couldn’t  be prouder that he was “deemed” at age level this past month!  He has come so far and worked so hard to do what others grasped with much more ease, and he is still such a happy, loving little boy!!

Happy birthday our sweet Jeremiah!!  We love you so much and are so incredibly proud of you!!

A week ago, I started seeing posts about Christmas decorations and trees going up on Facebook.  It shocked me to say the least.  Everyone has their own take and the right to their own opinion, so this is not me judging anyone!  It just got me thinking why I was so shocked.

I am one of those that is strict about how Christmas does NOT come before thanksgiving.  I don’t know why.  I love christmas and everything about it!

It might be because I am obsessed with fall.  It is by far my favorite time of the year.  I love the cool weather, sweatshirts, being able to play outside without melting or freezing, pumpkins, hayrides, camping, bonfires…and I could go on and on.  I always think the leaves get the prettiest around my birthday (November 6), so to me that is when fall is like full on.  I live on a little street where most of the houses are 60+ years old.  There are huge oak and dogwood trees all around me.  They are stunning!  I can not help but look at them and think “what a creative God we serve!”  He is an artist.  Knowing that God is so creative and we are made in his image…leads me to do projects with my little artists.  We have so much to be thankful for!  (If you leave the cursor resting on a picture it will bring up the title of  that photo which might help understanding the description below it.)
