Hi! Welcome to our little part of the internet!
I am Erica. I have been married to my best friend, Matt, for over ten years. He is incredibly creative and a big part of making this blog possible. You will see his talents in videos, web design, and often some DIY projects. Although I put out most of the content, I couldn’t do this gig without him.
I love to create and constantly have a project or ten going at any one time. I find great amounts of rejuvenation from staining or spraypainting things. I love to thrift and use COLOR! I have a hard time deciding on certain design decisions because I like so much and anything with color gets my attention. I often think of my style as Bohemian or artsy, but rustic touches catch my eye as well.
Matt and I have three beautiful kids.
Caleb, is our oldest. He is seven and often considers himself part of the “parental” team. Jeremiah is our middle boy. He is six and the sweetest thing. Reagan is our baby girl, although she is not much of a baby anymore. She is four and quite independent and hilarious all in one cute body!
I love being a mom and want to be around my kids as much as possible. This simple fact led us to homeschool. I want to be the best mom I can be. I know no one is perfect, but I want to give it my all, so I try. I love to encourage other moms to be the best moms they can be in this small season we have with our kids at home. It is constantly changing and I strive to make the most of each season!
We have recently moved from Atlanta Georgia to northern Indiana to be apart of a church. We are adjusting to the cold and snow, and we love it! We became foster care parents last year, and we will be starting the process to get re-certified as soon as we get some boxes unpacked. Life is busy and beautiful…and we feel so incredibly blessed!
This blog is where we like to share the story we feel God is writing with our lives as well as a lot of our crafts and DIY projects. It is our prayer that this is a fun outlet for Matt and I to be creative together as well as an avenue to encourage and inspire you.

I hope you enjoyed getting to know us a little and want to keep coming back to see the adventures God takes us on and through as he refines us and grows us all up!
Thank you to the beautiful Someplace Wild for these gorgeous pictures!
