On Saturday, we took the boys to their first easter egg hunt!  It was so much fun!  Caleb was so excited about the balloons, train, and of course the EGGS!  We had practiced, so he knew the eggs held special “snacks”.  He snuck under the rope twice before the hunt began, and we had to go fetch him.  Their was a loud DJ playing extremely loud music-and J did not like it!  He cried whenever we got too close to the speakers.  He fell asleep right before Caleb went off to get his eggs, so he missed watching his brother.  We had to wake him up for a family picture after the hunt.  I don’t ever want to look back at pictures and be like “where was J?”  So we are really careful to always include him in the pictures…even if its him asleep or we have to wake him up!

We kept our neighbors’ dog, Marley, for the weekend…who we adore!  Check out these photos!  (I don’t think I have ever written a blog about our dogs-thought it was about time!)

Sooooo…I have my new dishwasher!!!!  It is so beautiful! P.s. It’s a little wierd to say that about a dishwasher, but it is!!  I didn’t even really look at it in the store, when we picked it out, because I didn’t care which one we got!  Anything that worked would be amazing, but now that I am looking at it and enjoying using it-I really got a nice one!  It has delay start and everything!  It was funny when the guys dropped it off, they picked up our old one to take away.  They looked at it and said with a little chuckle “that’s not the one you were using is it?”  So it was a little old, but it worked for us-until it started smoking and broke :)!  God used some very dear friends to provide this new dishwasher for us!  We are humbled and feel so blessed that we have a father looking out for us…and using people in our lives to love on us and graciously give to us!

Today is Matt’s birthday!  What a great day!!  32 years ago the love of my life was born!  I am so thankful for this day because it celebrates Matt and life…without those…my life and ME would not be the same!
