If we were to have coffee today, there is so much I would want to say to you.
I’d tell you I am so thankful I survived Matt being gone for 5 nights while I was home with sick kids. I would tell you I have the best family and friends in the world who offered me help everyday and kept me from feeling alone.
I would tell you I think we might finally be on the verge of getting over all the stomach bug and virus stuff we have had for weeks now.
I would tell you I am so thankful for my husband and that we could celebrate him yesterday for his birthday!
I would also say that I am SO excited to have a date with him tomorrow and be going to lunch and a movie courtesy of my sister, Joni, babysitting!
I would say, I have loved having “spring break” this week. Taking “doing school” off my plate has felt so freeing, yet we miss routines and I think the kids need the structure back. So, I am equally excited to get back into school next week!
One of the biggest things I would want to tell you is, we think we have actually sold our house. I would still be hesitant to open up and share for the fear that some how it will fall apart again. This is our third contract, but we actually have made it through the due diligence period and all signs and conversations point towards it actually happening. As of right now, we will close at the end of April on our current house and on the brand new house we have signed a contract on in Cumming.
After all my babbling, I would probably catch myself from doing all the talking and start asking about you! I’d want to know what you have been working on? How your little ones are doing? Are you all healthy or fighting all the junk going around too? AND do you have dishes in your kitchen sink as well?
As crazy as times have been with sick kids, Matt traveling, buyers/inspectors/appraisals coming through our doors in the midst of it all…we are feeling tremendously blessed and are so excited about where God is leading us. As we go into Easter weekend, we have hearts that are full and are praising God for his continued faithfulness.

Thank you so much Kristen! We still need that thrifting date! I’m looking for kitchen chairs now to go with a table I am begging my hubs to make :).

Oh, that sounds fabulous. Where is your favorite place to go thrifting?

Where in Cumming is the new place? We are west of 400 between exit 13 and 14. Yahoo!!!!!!
ericadeuel says
We are further than you Bethany!! We are really close to Browns Bridge Church, so there isn’t even an exit for us! Just the stop light! BUT I did scan and it out and saw that all the life at exit 14 is where we will shop and run errands. Where do you guys go to church?
Bethany says
We go to Roswell Community Church… Where Mike and Stacy go. It’s a drive, but it’s worth it!

I am walking in your shoes right now as far as the house situation is concerned. I am so thankful that my faith has been able to sustain me through this period of ups and downs otherwise I would’ve likely gone crazy by now. I’m just praying and believing at this point!
Can’t wait to follow along on your journey. It will indeed keep me inspired as you are farther along than I am but it is always encouraging to see someone on the same path!
Praying for your family!
