Our happy BOY…

HE LOVES the pool!!  Grammy Pammy and G-Pops have a diving board….and last weekend Caleb went crazy on it!!  He absolutely loves it!!  I think he did it continuously like 100 times-and even then we had to stop him!  He would jump and then kick himself to the side-climb out and run around to do it again!!  What two year old does this!  He is so brave and soo soo fun!

A sad day WEEK!

Caleb hasn’t been feeling good this week.  He has had high fevers-reaching over 104.4 at one point.  He has been fussy, not wanting to eat-just laying around…After 48 hours of this-we took him to the doctor and his ears and throat looked good & chest sounded good…so they didn’t know what was up.  They wanted to send us right to Scottish Rite for tests.  We opted to let him take a nap first…and when he woke back up and still had the fever, we decided to take him down.  The poor guy got a chest X-ray and blood drawn (it took them 3 tries in different places before they got it!).  Those tests came back showing that he has some kind of bad viral infection.  The fever is currently gone and he is doing better…so now we are just working on keeping him hydrated and rested and hopefully he will be back to his fun loving self soon!  Thank you for your prayers!!

Caleb LOVES trains!!  He has been to the trains’ “home” when we have occasionally dropped Matt off at Marta.   Caleb has learned to say “daddy…choo choo…work…hawks.”  (because his daddy takes the train to work a hawks game of course!!)  We thought it would be a fun idea to take the “train” down town for a day, so we prepped Caleb….and he was SO excited!!  He talked about it for days before we went!  He loved it!  I think he especially liked how he didn’t have a seat belt and could walk around the train!  🙂  He went back in forth with sitting with me…and then sitting next to Matt.  We picnicked in Centennial Park, played on the playground, and eventually got into the fountains!  Caleb took a little warming up to the idea of getting ‘wet’…so Matt was an amazing dad and showed him what to do!!  Caleb warmed right up to the idea-and then when nuts!!!  Jeremiah enjoyed his stroller ride, took a good nap at one point, and even enjoyed the fountains with his daddy too!  It was an awesome day!!
