I am so excited about this art show!  I will terribly miss my business partner/sister, olivia.  Without her presence this can not be the “grand opening” or “debut release”, but simply be a test run.  I am hoping it will be a good way to test my inventory.  If you have nothing going on Thursday night-please feel free to come by!!  Matt and I will be there waiting for people to talk to us!  🙂  Love you all!!!

p.s.  Just to brag on Matt for a minute- (and since this is our blog-its the place to do it!!!) do you see what he did with my logo????  I merely drew the one zebra I featured yesterday.  He created the second zebra from that and designed,  created the rest of the logo!  I LOVE it!!!  Thank you my creative boo!!

I have been busy prepping for my first art show!!  This Thursday night, Dancing Zebras will make its debut!  I am so excited about it!  I have been finishing up some projects, working on a logo with my hubby, counting inventory, making tags, etc.  I will give some more details about my show in the next day or two in the mean time enjoy some pictures from behind the scenes…

Happy anniversary  to one of my favorite couples ever!!!!  They have been married ten years!  What a blessing you two our to us-we love you!!!

This sign was designed by my creative brother-in-law!  He foresaw the font, spacing, size,  and colors…I just pulled it off.  🙂  I found the font on-line and typed their name out in it.  I then just kind of looked at it written out as I painted it.  It’s not exact, so it’s kind of my own creation off of a famous script.  I used the same rough it up look created by sandpaper-that I have come to LOVE!  My final touch was the gloss to make it look finished. 

THE final touch was my husband’s handiwork there on the back!  We are a team.  I couldn’t do the creations without him sawing my wood, adding knobs (when it applies), and the key hole in the back for hanging.  In all honesty, I have the easier part in this business.  🙂

 This video cracked me up while I was filming it….and even after I have watched it like 20 times since-I still laugh!!  I love this boy!!!
