After several months of putting my sewing/crafting side on hold while I started growing a precious baby, I am back!!! Ha ha not full force and not with the same passion…but I have slowly started getting back into it. Last week I cut out 22 owl patterns and placed them all in their own little envelope…
Each envelope contains one owl ready to have its face appliqued on, embroidered, stuffed and sewn up. It will be a lot of work to finish these owls, but what a great start! We all know just starting something is half the battle a lot of the time.
On another note, many of you know I was wanting to enter an art show with my sister, Olivia, this fall. After MUCH consideration, talking, and laboring over what is the best thing to do, we have decided to not do the Wagon Wheel Show. It was a really hard decision because we have excitedly been planning it since Christmas last year!
After searching the website of the race and learning more about it I have decided it’s not the best thing for me and my boys this year.
Matt would not be able to go because he would be on the Broken Voices Tour-which I would have missed! My partner in crime with this, Olivia, has school a few of the days of the sale. Although My mom said she would go and help me, it would have been a lot. Too much to watch set up and watch a booth, keep my kids happy in the HEAT, make sure they don’t get trampled by a horse, and camp all week during all of this. P.s. While being preggo 🙂 So all that to say is I am looking for other local shows!
I am finding that a lot of them are full or pretty expensive, but I will find something and keep you guys posted! Let me know if you know of a show you think I should look into!
