Hi! Welcome to our little part of the internet!
I am Erica. I have been married to my best friend, Matt, since 2004. He is incredibly creative and a big part of making this site possible. You will see his talents in videos, web design, and often some DIY projects. Although I put out most of the content, I couldn’t do this gig without him.
I love to create and constantly have a project or ten going at any one time. I find great amounts of rejuvenation from staining or spray painting things. I love to thrift and use COLOR! I have a hard time deciding on certain design decisions because I like so much and anything with color gets my attention. I often think of my style as Bohemian or artsy, but rustic touches catch my eye as well.
Matt and I have three beautiful kids.
I love being a mom and want to be around my kids as much as possible. Some of my favorite moments are when my passion for kids is paired up with my passion for creating, and this happens a lot with our owns kids.
Matt and I spent the majority of our lives (and all three of our kids were born) in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2014 we moved to northern Indiana for a job change. While we have acclimated to the cold and snow, we still struggle to get over the lack of Chick-Fil-A and sweet tea around here!
We also expanded the Spoonful of Imagination umbrella by launching a non-profit art studio here that I ran from 2017-2022. Life is busy and beautiful, and although I loved the studio, the demand of time was too much in this new season of parenting now teens!
