Shooting Guns!!!
Over the weekend we went to Ellijay, GA with Matt’s family (George and Barbara & Mike and Stacy). We had a lot of fun catching up and being together. We had some great meals and got a good game of catch phrase going! Matt and I even got to sleep a little extra in the mornings with Barbara and George taking the boys for us! What a treat! We didn’t take a bed or anything for Jeremiah to sleep in-the Xterra gets full pretty easily these days, so we were planning on him sleeping in bed with us. What threw us off was Caleb…. It’s a big change for a toddler to sleep somewhere new and unknown. He didn’t go for the bunk bed, so our whole little family ended up sleeping in the same bed!! HAHaha!! It is so funny to think we did that-wish we had a picture to remember it by! On Saturday we shot some of Mike’s guns-and it was so fun! I had to drag Stacy out of the cabin :), but it was worth it! We created a great memory and have pictures and a video to remember it by!
Some recent pics…
We wanted to put some updated photos of the boys on here for you to enjoy! Love you all!
Poor, sick Jeremiah!
Last week Caleb had what we thought was a cold. On Sunday, Jeremiah seemed to be coming down with one as well. J’s cough got worse and worse to the point on Wednesday he was having trouble to breath. We took him to the doctor and found out he had RSV (bronchialitis). Caleb probably has RSV too, but since he is older his body can handle it better than J. Its like a cold gone bad-tons and tons of mucus and coughing! We got sent straight to Scottish Rite from our doctor’s visit-and have been here ever since! The little guy has gotten several breathing treatments (where they put a mask on him and he sucks oxygen mixed with some medicine) and had his nose suctioned numerous times (like with a vacuum cleaner). It has been so hard watching such a sweet little guy be so miserable and go through so much. Did you know they make hospital gowns his size?? It is pretty cute! We have spent two nights here and are hoping we get to go home today! Matt and I are both really tired physically and emotionally. We want to go home so bad-to be home and be with Caleb! We miss our active little toddler and know he needs his parents and back to a normal routine, but then we want to do whats best for J too….so it’s just hard! My nerves are kind of like shot. I am praying he is doing better, so we can go home and all be together again! Thanks for praying for us and checking in!
