We just launched a new project today with Broken Voices. I’ve posted the video below. I’m proud to say that Erica did that majority of the artwork for this video. She consistantly blows me away with her creative and artistic ability. And yes, all of the images in the video are hand-drawn. A lot of people have asked what program we used to animate the chalk – it’s called Erica Deuel, a chalkboard, a box of chalk, and a damp paper towel. 🙂
We had so much fun working on this project together. It took 2 full days of drawing and photographing. Caleb enjoyed watching the process and sat beside his mom drawing on his own chalk board at times. I also entered the fun for a few frames. Whenever you see a stick figure take a wild guess at who contributed those masterful drawings. Unfortunately you can see my work pretty clearly compared to Erica’s.
