Have you seen the cute fabric Christmas ornaments that are out there these days!? I stared at a bin of them at Target in the fall wanting to buy them all but knew our poor Christmas tree is already overrun with ornaments. So, I sadly passed them by. Now that Christmas is over, I saw these babies at 50% off, and I snatched them up. If you hurry, maybe you can still find some too. I knew there had to be another way to use them. After I got them home, inspiration struck and here's how I turned Continue Reading
Valentine’s Day Garland
There are so many projects that I have wanted to share, but moving has kicked my butt. So many projects but so little time! Slowly but surely this house is becoming home, and I am excited to start showing you all we have been working on. I made this little garland at Christmas time, but still love it. Anyone that has been a part of the Laser Show tradition knows that the grand finale is a rousing rendition of Proud To Be An American with plenty of Americana and tons of fireworks. This year we stood with mouths dropped open as the show wrapped up void of the traditional finale!? How could they leave out the show stopper? I left Continue Reading
DIY Flower Name Tag
Do you have a party or a shower coming up that could use a little flair? For my last Spoonful Lab, I created these Flower Name Tags, and I know the guests at your next gathering will love them. Follow along and I'll walk you though how to make them step-by-step. The first thing I did was create some yo-yo flowers out of a fabric that caught my eye! If you don't know how to make a yo-yo, I show you how in this yo-yo pillow post. Once I had a collection of yo yos, I simply sewed a Continue Reading
